GW Nursing Research is proud to host the first annual GW Nursing Research Colloquium. This event will provide an opportunity for faculty, staff, students, and community partners to showcase their research projects in a collegial environment without hefty conference fees.
There will be five research categories from which the top three submissions will be asked to provide a 15 minute presentation. These catergories are: Policy; Education; Patient Centered Care and Outcomes; Evidenced Based Practice; and Student- led Research.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS NOW CLOSED. Selected abstracts will be notified by December 20, 2017. Include your name, name(s) of other presenters, primary presenter contact email, organization and affiliation (faculty, staff, community partner, or student), and abstract category.

8:30-9:00: Registration and continental breakfast
9:00-9:30: Welcome from GW Nursing Dean Jeffries and Angela McNelis
9:30- 10:30: Evidenced base practice presentations (@ 10 minutes each)
10:45-11:45: Education presentation (@ 10 minutes each)
11:45-12:30: Presentation on Team Science and Collaboration
1:30- 2:30: Patient centered care presentations (@ 10 minutes each)
2:30- 3:30: Policy presentation (@10 minutes each)
3:30- 3:45: BREAK
3:45- 4:45: Student led research (@ 10 minutes each)
4:45- 6:00: Networking reception (for those who wish to join event organizers)
The City VIew Room at the Elliot School of International Affirs is a 10-12 minute walk from Foggy Bottom Metro. Parking is available at Elliott School Garage with access on 19th Street near E Street.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am-11pm.
Rates: Up to 1 hour: $10; Up to 2 hours: $17; Daily Maximum: $26
