****This event is co-hosted by the American Conservative Union****
Come to the American Conservative Union's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and join us for the 7th Annual YJC Shabbat at CPAC!
This annual tradition was started in 2012 to bring together politically conservative Jews and encourage them to attend CPAC, the largest annual gathering of conservative activists. YJC's Shabbat at CPAC program is a unique opportunity to network with dozens of Jewish conservative activists from all across the United States. The program features prominent conservative speakers along with traditional observance.
A schedule of events will be released a few days before the conference. Previous special guests attending Shabbat programming have included: Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Rick Santorum, Rep. Mark Meadows, Rep. Marlin Stutzman, Rep. Lee Zeldin, Rep. Trent Franks, Rep. Louie Gohmert, Allen West, Michael Medved, Mark Levin. Glenn Beck, the late Andrew Breitbart, Ben Shapiro and Joel Pollak, and many others.
Please register ahead of time and spread the word about this event.
When you register, the price includes three kosher meals in a traditional observance Friday and Saturday. Hotel reservation and CPAC registration are separate. Shabbat at CPAC will take place at the Residence Inn National Harbor, just across the street from the main CPAC venue at Gaylord National Resort Hotel in the National Harbor. There are also other hotels in the area.
Organizations or individuals interested in sponsorship opportunities (including tax-exemption information), rooming options or scholarships to attend contact us by email.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is included in registration for the Shabbat program?
A. Registration for Shabbat at CPAC includes a full Shabbat experience, including traditional gourmet kosher meals. Full prayer services (with proper Torah readings) also take place for those interested. Although Shabbat at CPAC is an official partner with the CPAC conference, registration for CPAC itself is not included in the Shabbat registration. Additionally, participants must find their own hotel accommodations.
Q. Can I only register for the Shabbat program and not CPAC itself?
A. Yes, you can. Shabbat at CPAC is held at the Residence Inn National Harbor, directly across from the main CPAC conference venue.
Q. Is there an Eruv in the area?
A. Unfortunately there is no Eruv.
Q. Aside from Shabbat meals, what other kosher food can YJC provide?
A. Outside of Shabbat (Friday evening-Saturday Night) YJC offers a kosher pizza lunch on Friday of CPAC. Kosher food in Washington, DC and its suburbs are relatively easy to access for the other days of the conference.
Q. What is the kosher standard of the food served?
A. Shabbat at CPAC is organized by orthodox Rabbis, and all food is the highest level of kosher and is prepared by a certified kosher caterer. Feel free to reach out to us for more detailed information.
Q. Who leads the Shabbat program?
A. In addition to YJC staff, Rabbi Daniel Lapin joins the Shabbat to provide an eloquent Jewish conservative context for the weekend. Many wonderful guest speakers join each year as well, and we will publicize their names closer to the event date.
Q. How can I connect with fellow participants in advance of the conference?
A. Click here to join the "Jews at CPAC 2018" facebook group, as well as here to join a WhatsApp group for all attendees.
