What: 9-1-1 leaders from Houston, Miami and the U.S. Virgin Islands will share their first-hand experiences in preparing for and responding to the recent hurricanes that hit Florida, Texas, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Panelists will shed light on how the 9-1-1 system performed, the challenges they faced, lessons learned, and explore the benefits of a modern IP-based Next Generation 9-1-1 system during these types of emergencies. FCC Chairman Ajit Pai will kick off the panel by recounting his own experiences visiting the affected areas. Please join the NG911 Institute to hear their stories and show your support for their life-saving efforts.
