Does Trade Still Matter?
Free trade has become one of this decade’s defining political issues. But can it still work? That’s why Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy has decided to hold its 2018 policy conference on exactly that big question: What role does free trade play in securing prosperity for America, and its trading partners?
Come see a variety of speakers, from both industry and political backgrounds share their thoughts on this pressing subject.
The conference will begin on Thursday, February 8th, with an opening keynote on trade, and American manufacturing. This will take place on Georgetown University campus, in the Bioethics Research library (Healy Hall, 102 3700 O, Washington, DC 20057).
There will be a reception afterwards for all attendees in Old North 205 (37th Street NW O Street NW, Old North #205, Washington, DC 20057)
Friday, February 9th, will feature a full day of panels, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, all in the Congressional Auditorium, within the Capitol Visitor Center.
We hope to see you there!
