DVWMT Classroom Part 1 of 2 "Parents&Teen End Verbal Abuse Conference"


Description: February is teen dating violence awareness month and Domestic Violence Wear Many Tags (DVWMT) is hosting a two day conference for parents and teen to end verbal abuse and learn tools to help their communication skills. Teens aren't only violent in dating relationships but it starts with the parent teen relationship first. Verbal abuse is dangerous on many levels and it doesn't prepare their teens for the real world concerning building relationships and effective communication. We respond more deeply and quickly to criticism than to praise. AMAZING DINNER TABLE CONVO & EDUCATION !! ZERO JUDGEMENT


Objective: A. Social rejection in the relationship B. Internalizing verbal abuse. C. Verbal abuse changes the brain development
