Our sectorally-siloed policy model is no longer working to address today’s challenges for food systems, biodiversity, water, energy, climate, infrastructure and sustainable economies. We must look instead towards integrated, long-term strategies of landscape transformation.
Come hear the thought-provoking perspectives and policy insights of Paula Caballero, now Global Director for Climate at World Resources Institute, previously a senior leader at the World Bank and in the Government of Colombia, and an internationally recognized leader on development and environment. She will be joined by a distinguished panel for lively debate.

The inaugural event of the High-Level Speaker Series “Towards Sustainable Landscapes” from the FAO Liaison Office for North America and EcoAgriculture Partners
For more than seven years, EcoAgriculture Partners and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations' North America Liaison Office have convened our Landscape Roundtable series of Chatham House rules conversations about integrated landscape management. After years of requests from media and the community to make these talks public and provide ways to join remotely, we are very pleased to announce a new joint series from our organizations: Towards Sustainable Landscapes.
The objective of this new series is to raise the profile of integrated landscape management with senior policymakers based in the D.C. region and their advisors, and influence relevant policy issues and debates. Highly respected researchers, program leaders and policymakers will be speakers and panelists.
