The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is hosting a luncheon on February 5th, 2018 from 12:00pm - 1:30pm as part of its regular series on biological, chemical, and health security issues. February's event will feature Arturo Casadevall from the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Claire Fraser from the University of Maryland School of Medicine who served on the committee that authored the recent report "Dual Use Research of Concern in the Life Sciences: Current Issues and Controversies." Their presentation will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
This event is free and open to the public, but you must register to attend. This event will not be webcast, and a summary will not be provided after the fact, so please register to attend in person if you are interested! A light lunch and beverages will be provided for all attendees.
