Synatra is currently the Education Coordinator at PGAAMCC and provides Spanish translation Early Keepers, a children’s program dedicated to teaching 3-7 year olds about Prince George’s County history and important figures. She earned her Ph.D. in Global and Sociocultural Studies from Florida International University, where she developed an interest in globally-conscious community engagement. Following graduation, she joined the founding team of VoiceLots, Inc., a technology startup that has developed a global social impact mobile application that offers scalable geospatial, marketing, and fundraising tools to help increase the effectiveness and efficiency of philanthropic work. She is also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
