Event Details

Please join us for an evening lecture on President Harry Truman and the major White House renovations he oversaw during his time in office. As witnesses to our nation’s history, first families often pass down stories of their time in the White House to their descendants. President Truman’s grandson, Clifton Daniel, will share his family’s experiences at the White House and how his grandfather embarked on and completed the most ambitious restoration of the Executive Mansion in American history. A light reception will follow the lecture.
