Event Details

WHC President David Astrove and his wife, Debbie, invite you to a special Metro Minyan and Dinner.

Led by Rabbi Miller, the evening begins at 6:30 pm with "A Shot of Torah," an opportunity to study the weekly Torah portion and dive into some serious (and not so serious) Jewish discussion over drinks and snacks. The guitar-led, come-as-you-are Shabbat service starts at 7:15 pm and is followed by dinner.

Dinner will feature delicious and authentic Syrian cuisine catered by Foodhini, a local social enterprise supporting refugees and immigrants. Learn more about our chef Majed, a Syrian immigrant, and read his story here.
