The Office of Faculty Affairs is pleased to announce an information session about recent policy changes affecting PTK faculty, with a focus on the development and implementation of unit-level promotion processes. The session is presented as a follow up to the town hall on mentoring for PTK faculty held last fall and provides PTK faculty the opportunity to learn more about campus guidelines for PTK faculty promotions. Strategies for how PTK faculty can become more connected with their units' efforts to establish and implement new or revised PTK promotion policies will also be discussed.

This session will:
  • Review the University‚Äôs recently established campus guidelines for the appointment, evaluation and promotion of PTK faculty;
  • Explain how PTK promotion cases are reviewed at the campus level;
  • Summarize the state of affairs regarding the development of unit-level policies across campus; and
  • Address questions about how PTK faculty can learn more about their own units' policies and procedures.
