The Woodley Park Community Association is hosting a solar information session for our neighbors to learn solar basics, technical considerations, feasibility, financing options, and incentives for installing solar panels. Washington, DC has some of the country's most favorable solar incentives and a "51st State co-op" will soon be open to all District residents, regardless of income levels, to take advantage of group bulk-purchasing power to get discounted pricing and a quality installation. All interested neighbors are welcome, including those who already have solar and would like to network and share their own solar journeys!
Date: Wednesday, February 28th from 7 pm to 9 pm
Location: All Souls Episcopal Church, 2300 Cathedral Ave NW. The entrance to the basement multi-purpose room is in the parking lot on Woodley Place, on the left side of the church. An elevator is available.
Presenters: Molly Simpson from the DC Department of Energy & Environment and Yesenia Rivera from Solar United Neighbors
