We are taking a road trip to Washington DC to the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC). On Sat. August 18, 2018, we will depart at 6am from Spring Valley Commuter East Lot on Route 59 at NYS Thruway Exit 14.
The NMAAHC is the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, history, and culture. The Museum opened to the public on September 24, 2016, as the 19th and newest museum of the Smithsonian Institution and features interesting artifacts and interactive exhibits. It also has the Sweet Home Café which showcases the rich culture and history of the African American people with traditional, authentic offerings as well as present-day food traditions.
The cost is $125pp until July 20th.The cost includes roundtrip ticket to DC, driver gratuity and parking, continental breakfast,complimentary museum pass, dinner stop in MD (dinner not included). Seating is limited, so reserve you seat today.
