Have you ever wondered what species of fish live in the waters of Washington, DC? Come to the Anacostia River Family Fishing Days this summer and learn about DC’s fish on a tour of the Aquatic Resources Education Center and then take a fishing lesson and learn to fish!
We encourage the entire family to fish together (not just the kids!) and join us to catch and learn about the fish and resources of the Anacostia River!
All fishing equipment and bait will be provided for participants.
Fishing instruction will be provided by volunteers from the DC Department of Energy & Environment, FishingCommunity.Org and the Bureau of Land Management.
The event will be held rain or shine and is open to 50 participants.
Register the family or sign up to volunteer to help us here: http://f4v.ketrick.org/events
