Earlier this year, playwright Hope Lindsay premiered her most recent work, The Intruders, in two performances at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in NE Washington, DC. In the play, two feisty and independent women named Ella and Avis, muse on how gentrification is changing their community and the effect this change is having on their lives. Lindsay will moderate a panel using the topic of gentrification in DC neighborhoods as the focal point of discussion. Included in the discussion will be actors from the production as well as invited guests. Lindsay is an alumnus of Howard University.
