Our first summer workshop will be held at the Carnegie Institution for Science's main building in downtown Washington, DC (1530 P Street NW). The purpose of this meeting is to explore the cutting edge astrophysics enabled by a high angular resolution X-ray observatory in the next decade, present the AXIS science case to the community, and solicit feedback. We are soliciting a limited number of contributed talks on topics related to high spatial resolution X-ray imaging and its connection with the broader astrophysical community.
The workshop registration fee is $95 for PhD astronomers and free for graduate students. Included in this fee is a light breakfast both days, lunch both days, coffee breaks, and a reception during the poster viewing session Monday evening. Please purchase a ticket using the green "Tickets" button at the upper right side of the page.
