Join CQ and the Government Affairs Industry Network (GAIN) for a special Lunch & Learn exclusive. We will showcase the findings of a CQ commissioned report on Women’s Representation in the Federal Workforce.

The report will be followed by a discussion with expert panelists on the current state of play and what's changing – or isn't.

Panelists: Maya Raghu, director of workplace equality & senior counsel at the National Women's Law Center; Kate Ackley, senior CQ reporter on lobbying and women in government; Dr. Patrina Clark, president of Executive Women in Government, and a veteran with 25 years experience in five different government agencies; Anne Hedgepath, director of federal policy at AAUW, who worked successfully to help pass acts such as the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act.

You'll learn:

  • Where women are most and least represented at the 20 largest agencies

  • Which agencies have made efforts to narrow the gender gap (and whether they've succeeded)

  • Which agencies have the highest representation of women at senior level

  • What's being done to encourage more participation and what's working

A complimentary, free lunch will be provided.*

*Note: For compliance reasons, the value of lunch will be equivalent to or less than $20 per person.
