Event Details

Booz Allen Hamilton and ConsenSys invite you to HACKtheEPIDEMIC (agenda and FAQ below)

On average, 115 Americans die each day from opioid overdose. As a result of drastically higher prescription rates and a sharp increase in overdose deaths since the early 2000s, opioid abuse is deemed a national emergency. The opioid crisis is a complex social challenge for which there is no single cause or solution; however, the opportunity exists for blockchain technology to create solutions to this rising epidemic.

Team up or come solo to help us tackle these challenges:
  1. Uncontrolled Management of the Opioid Supply Chain
  2. Inadequate Data Sharing Between Stakeholders
  3. Treatment of Individuals with Opioid Use Disorders

Why attend?
  1. Prizes will be awarded
  2. Recruiters from Booz Allen Hamilton and ConsenSys will be in attendance
  3. Network with fellow blockchain and public health enthusiasts
  4. Work on solving real social problems
