HALF-DAY INTRODUCTION TO USER-CENTERED DESIGN
The State Department’s IRM Bureau, Office of eDiplomacy, and frog -- a global innovation and design company -- will offer a half-day introduction to human-centered design. The session will provide an overview of the design process and how it can be used to innovate in the public sector. Then, we will train you on the tools and techniques you can use to foster a more collaborative, creative, and user-centered approach in your own organization.
We hope you can join us. It's free for USG (federal and local) colleagues!
For those who would like to have more networkingn time can head to the food trucks or cafeteria.
Note: Everyone needs to register. All non-Department of State colleagues will need to check in with the visitor's desk behind the Dunkin Donuts (closest to 21st Street). You will have to show your government-issued work ID. Someone from our team will be waiting to escort small groups. You will need to go through a metal detector and turn on any laptops, tablets, etc.
